rising terror – our childhood’s war [ανατέλλων τρόμος - ο παιδικός μας πόλεμος]

Ανατέλλων Τρόμος, Anatellon Tromos, Rising Terror logo

Bitter fairytales, so true as death
With murderous knights, in a deserted land
Where witches are crucified
They want me to live in them, but they’re cheap
And makes me sick

Dampened tales, watered with blood and tears
With heroes betrayers, snakes that live without love and hate
They want me to live in them, but reptiles are repulsive

You know mummy, I don’t see dreams anymore
I draw black birds, ’cause you have stolen my colors
On mornings I wander in the subway, inhaling burial fragrances
In-void I roam, my moves in slow motion
And foul are all that I lust

How are you going to achieve redemption?
Which lie are you going to tell me?

Achieving redemption with lies?
You know mummy, I can’t stand to live begging
Now I’m born again through the bowels of a whore
I’m sweetly embraced by the flaming tongues of the city
You know mummy, your angel has become a demon

I want to play our
Childhood’s bloodless war again
Like the old days
But with a loaded gun

walpurgis night – men in foreign places

Βαλπουργία Νύχτα, Valpourgia Nihta, Walpurgus Night

they left their land in search of happiness
driven by courage and hope for humanity
they went through hardship but were not shaken by the route
found no embrace at places they reached
some were locked behind bars
in bale circumstances were sent back
some that made it through were faced with so much
punched by people they met

you are not endowed to decide
who can touch a piece of land
no one’s endowed to reap
the effort to incorporate an appeal

they hopelessly united in search of a home
but they were thrown out because they were from abroad
contempt and deliberate punishment is all they got
degradation from everyone
looking for jobs they got rejected
families that need to feed their children
exploited and left naked
they were turned in and never got paid
