And then I heard this band which blew my mind away! I found online and downloaded four tracks from their (sold out) demo which I was listening on repeat for days. And then came this 7” to prove how amazing this band is! Coming from K-Town delivering the greatest punkrock I’ve listened in a very long time! It will make you sing along in a language that you don’t even speak and it won’t leave your roundtable for a long time, I promise. I know this is not the most objective review but what the hell, if you don’t like this 7” I’ll buy it from you and give it to a friend cause this one is going to be a classic…

This is the first full length release for the Seattle based band. Lisa from Garmonbozia was added to the band on cello and along with the use of violin, it gives different, more melancholic sound. Nevertheless, this is a powerful apocalyptic crust release. The cd version of the album contains as a bonus track a song featuring Renae from Skarp doing guest vocals and also the three songs from the band’s first EP.

This is a co-production of various labels including Stonehenge, Maloka, Chimeres and more. As expected by those who already know La Fractions, this album is full of fast punk rock with great melodies and female vocals. 10 catchy and emotional songs that will make you get on your feet and dance! Don’t expect to hear something different that the previous albums but nevertheless these are good songs so why should they be any different? By the way, is there anyone else who immediately thought of the opening riff of Tragedy’s “The Waiting” from “Can we call this life?” EP when they heard the opening riff of this album’s s/t track?

Well played dark, epic, atmospheric and melancholic crusty hardcore. The cello lines, although sometimes buried behind the heavy guitars, give an amazing feeling, especially to the slow parts of the record. This album is the first of a trilogy and the lyrics are based on the book “Watership Down” by Richard Adams. Of course don’t expect any “Lord of the Rings” power metal crap theme album; the lyrics have deeply political meanings and explanations of them are provided. If you’re a fan of Tragedy, From Ashes Rise, Remains of the Day and the kind, go for it, you will be amazed!
