This is the debut from this band coming from Brighton, UK. Well played dark, epic, atmospheric and melancholic crusty hardcore. The cello lines, although sometimes buried behind the heavy guitars, give an amazing feeling, especially to the slow parts of the record. This album is the first of a trilogy and the lyrics are based on the book “Watership Down” by Richard Adams. Of course don’t expect any “Lord of the Rings” power metal crap theme album; the lyrics have deeply political meanings and explanations of them are provided. If you’re a fan of Tragedy, From Ashes Rise, Remains of the Day and the kind, go for it, you will be amazed!
